After being exiled from Florence, Dante found refuge in Verona at the court of the Della Scala family. Here he found inspiration and wrote a good part of the Divine Comedy, remaining a guest for about 7 years.
Following, cooking class with Dante menu. The experience will take place in a welcoming Italian kitchen in the heart of Verona where you will prepare medieval dishes to discover the gastronomy of the time and enjoy them in good company!

DAY 2 - montorio: e-bike & outdoor painting
Breakfast at the hotel. Day out of town walking with Dante among the “divine” waters of Montorio: a small Veronese district 5 km from the center where Dante was welcomed in the Palazzo delle Logge, the summer residence of the Scaligeri. Here the precious springs and the streams immersed in the green inspired the poet Dante.
Leaving independently from the historic center of Verona, you will cycle through the countryside, vineyards and clear waters. Once you arrive in Piazza Buccari, stop to take the multimedia path dedicated to Dante on foot, divided into 17 stages that winds through the springs. The route takes the visitor on a journey through history with intense and unique emotions.
Packed lunch and time to reach the walls of the medieval castle of Montorio by e-bike which will be the setting for an “en plein air” painting lesson! You will take inspiration from the beauty of Montorio as Dante did, you will draw and paint in the open air together with a painter and master of art.
