Awsome four-day trekking that will give you the opportunity to explore the beauty of Monte Baldo and Lake Garda.
Starting from Malcesine using the unique and panoramic cable car you will hike the Mt.Baldo ridges and crossing the mountain along the highest trail from the North to the South point.
During your trekking you will pass from the mountains to the pastures admiring panoramic points with breath-taking views that go as far as overlooking the Valpolicella, Verona and Sirmione.
A curious mix of nature between mountain, lake passing through the lovely villages of Malcesine, Campo and Castelletto di Brenzone.
Itinerary
DAY 1 - Malcesine
Meeting point in Castelletto di Brenzone, here you will leave your car in one of our partner parkings and you will meet our representative who will provide you a briefing, as well as the travel kit that contains the maps and everything you need for your adventure.
Transfer to the beautiful village of Malcesine, check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day will be to explore the charming medieval town of Malcesine. The beautiful castle in the city center has shaped its culture and traditions. The town located on the shores of the famous Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy, is surrounded by beautiful mountains.
The historic center of Malcesine is known for its cobbled streets lined with small boutiques, cafes and restaurants serving fresh fish straight from the lake. Overnight in Malcesine.
DAY 2 - Mt. Baldo
Breakfast at the hotel and packed lunch included. Starting from the historic center of Malcesine, you will reach the top of Mt. Baldo with the panoramic cable car which, turning 360 degrees, will give you a unique view of the lake and the mountains. The trekking begins along the ridges of Mt. Baldo. Following the indicated path you will hike crossing the mountain from north to south walking on the highest ridges. The breathtaking views will accompany you all the way between pines and wild heather.
Arrival at the shelter Telegrafo, free dinner in the renowned restaurant and overnight stay in the shelter.

DAY 3 - PRADA
Breakfast at the shelter.
You will continue your adventure towards Prada, along the ridges, with views that range over the Valpolicella, Verona and the Apennines on clear days. You will spend a day discovering a different and unexpected Mt. Baldo: large pastures and green meadows will accompany you during your walk. In this part of the route you may spot the friendly Baldo chamois and observe the great variety of flowers.
Arrival at Malga Pralongo, the ideal point for a regenerating break and to taste the products of the Malga such as cheeses and cured meats on the panoramic terrace from which it is possible to take splendid photographs. After the stop you will continue your descent towards Prada. Overnight in Prada.

DAY 4 - Castelletto di brenzone
Breakfast at hotel. On your last day of trekking you will have a nice experience on the ancient mule tracks that lead to the lake. Crossing the southern side of the mountain, with a wide view of the lower part of Lake Garda, you will reach Campo: a suggestive medieval village now abandoned.
Continue towards Castelletto di Brenzone: a charming and welcoming village on the shores of the lake. It’s time to relax in one of the cafes or restaurants of the small and characteristic marina. Overnight in Castelletto.

DAY 5 - DEPARTURE
After breakfast departure from Castelletto. End of services.
